While Mike begins a new chapter with the San Francisco 49ers, Tampa and this community will always be part of his story. Like Mike, the Mike Evans Family Foundation is also entering a new chapter this year—one focused almost entirely on education and long-term impact. Moving forward, we are no longer planning to host fundraising events and this summer in Galveston, we will host our last Free Youth Football Camp. From this point on, Mike and Ashli will dedicate foundation resources primarily to the foundation’s Annual Scholarship Program, which has awarded over $800,000 in college scholarships to students around the country since 2017.
This shift means funding previously used for programs like our youth football camps and holiday events will now go directly toward helping more students attend the college of their dreams. The Mike Evans Family Foundation will continue to be supported through major annual gifts from Mike and Ashli and through the funds raised from past events and dedicated supporters throughout the years.

Most people know Mike Evans as a star NFL receiver, but this 4-time NFL Walter Payton Man of The Year nominee is so much more than that given the impact he’s made in both Tampa and Texas.
Mike and his wife, Ashli, have a passion for helping children by providing them with opportunities to help make their dreams a reality. They also work with women who have been victims of domestic violence to help them get back on their feet and live their best lives. In Spring, Mike Evans Family Foundation opens applications to our annual college scholarship program to benefit hard-working, resilient students from across the country. The final recipients participate in a celebratory Zoom call with Mike and Ashli! Mike often funds additional scholarships throughout the year to help even more young adults pursue their education and career goals.
