BOARD MEMBER

Stephanie has more than 15 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, using her clinical knowledge to develop programs and provide supports that address physical, behavioral, and social support needs of individuals in their environment. Her areas of expertise include addressing and integrating social drivers of health needs (such as education, housing, interpersonal violence, transportation, or food insecurity) with an individual’s behavioral and physical health needs. After living and serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine she values understanding and empathy for persons of differing cultures, races, ethnicities, and beliefs. Her passions derive from a desire to empower those who struggle to have their own voice. Stephanie uses her expertise of program development to construct initiatives to improve health literacy and outcomes for those with physical, cognitive, behavioral, or cultural barriers. Stephanie received her Bachelor of Communication and Broadcast Journalism degree from Wichita State University—while competing as a student-athlete—and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver.
