Mike Evans Family Foundation to Award $65,000 in Scholarships to Students in Need of Financial Assistance
Tampa, FL – May 3, 2021 – Super Bowl Champion and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Wide Receiver Mike Evans and his wife, Ashli, invite graduating high school seniors to apply for one of 13 scholarships available through the Mike Evans Family Foundation annual scholarship program.
Scholarships awarded through the program this year will total $65,000 and support the Foundation’s mission to give hardworking and well-rounded students the opportunity to attend college that they may not otherwise have due to financial limitations.
There are 13 scholarships available in honor of Mike Evans’ football jersey number (#13). Each $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to qualified US students who can benefit most from the financial assistance.
“Ashli and I want these young students to know that if they work hard, they can accomplish anything,” said Mike Evans. “Your financial situation shouldn’t stop you from your goals.”
The application window is now open and will remain open until midnight ET on Monday, May 31, 2021, and the Foundation will notify recipients by August 2, 2021.
