CATCH FOR CHRISTMAS

During the holidays, Mike, Ashli and the Mike Evans Family Foundation give gifts to kids in Tampa. Our Annual Catch for Christmas program has included holiday parties, door-to-door gift giving, shopping sprees, college scholarships, and more.

Mike was named Week 16 NFLPA Community MVP for the 2021 Catch for Christmas initiatives. In the spirit of creating special holiday experiences for Tampa Bay kids, Mike and the foundation helped fund four-year college scholarships for six high school students. Mike, Ashli and their children also surprised the staff and kids at Boys & Girls Club of Tampa Bay with gifts and jerseys. The next day, Mike and Ashli hosted a shopping spree for 13 kids from the Children’s Home Network, a Tampa organization that helps victims of neglect and abuse.

In 2022 and 2023, the foundation hosted a holiday party for 13 deserving students at the Buccaneers practice facility. Mike surprised each student with a jersey (which he of course signed for them!), lunch and games out on the practice fields. He also gave the group a full behind-the-scenes tour of the facility, ending in the auditorium where the stage was full of hand-selected gifts for each student. This was all a surprise to them, so seeing their faces light up when they see their presents makes this one of our favorite events of the year!

HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR

Every October, the Mike Evans Family Foundation hosts a Halloween Spooktacular with 13 families at the Florida Aquarium. The kids get their faces painted, have a hot meal, trick or treat with Mike, pick out Halloween costumes and receive a special behind the scenes tour of the aquarium.

THANKSGIVING MEAL DRIVES



The Mike Evans Family Foundation works to partner with community organizations to distribute Thanksgiving meals to families in need.
