Vincent Jackson

Vincent Jackson played wide receiver in the NFL for 12 seasons including his time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2012 to 2016, and devoted much of his life to giving back to the Tampa community. Before his unexpected death in 2021, he founded the Jackson in Action 83 Foundation.

Having grown up in a military family, he created the foundation in 2012 to provide support through educational, emotional and physical initiatives. One of the biggest threats to a close bond between military parents and their children is their deployment away from home. The foundation’s goal is to provide support and tools to help military parents continue to raise their children and maintain close bonds, even when separated by thousands of miles. Although Vincent is not here with us anymore, his foundation continues to help military children across the country.

“Vincent Jackson was a huge inspiration to me to make an impact on and off the field.”
